Notary Approved Translation

What is a notarized translation? A document that legally certifies that a translated document has been translated in accordance with the original is called a notarized translation. A translation that has not been notarized does not qualify as a legally reliable document. A notarized translation is often compared with a translation certified by a sworn translator. These approvals are different from each other. A translation certified by a sworn translator is provided with the signature and stamping of the translation by a sworn translator. A notarized translation, on the other hand, is obtained when the translation certified by a sworn translator is approved by a notary public. In cases where apostille approval is required, the sworn translator and notarized translation are apostilled together through the governorship or district governorship.

Depending on the institution, the approvals required for a document may vary. While one document may only require the approval of a sworn translator, another document may require notarization and apostille approval in addition to sworn translator approval. Depending on the procedures performed, documents gain qualifications such as notarized translation and sworn translation.
